You've either been to one or are thinking of going to one. Right?
Well, either way, time to get a grip on the most overrated, overindulged, overspent money on, over-anticipated high school ritual ever. Because you better believe, it is an experience. This rite of passage is turned inside out at breakneck speed, in the form of a sporting event: students versus chaperones.
Prom is a multi-layered barrage of questions and open-ended answers set to a fantastic wall of music and outrageous imagery. A bittersweet, wickedly funny, wise, thoughtful discovery for those looking forward and those looking back. And those not even sure where to look.
Premiered in 2004 to sold-out performances. Deemed "Best Stage Production" by City Pages and the St. Paul Pioneer Press declared it "one of the year's top ten plays."
