2006 - 2007 Season
The BFG (Big Friendly Giant)
Based on the book by ROALD DAHL
Adapted for the stage by DAVID WOOD
Directed by DAVID SCHWEIZER
AUGUST 22 - OCTOBER 29, 2006
Mainstage Enjoyed by ALL ages
Do you have a friend big enough to tower over buildings? Sophie does. Admittedly, the friendship gets off to a rocky start. Having an enormous creature kidnap and haul you off to Giant Country will do that. But this giant is the kind, endearing, dream-blowing Big Friendly Giant. When he speaks, his words come out all "squiff-squiddly." But no matter - Sophie can translate.
This ingenious story of an unlikely friendship between an orphan and a giant is pure Roald Dahl. Wickedly funny with surprises at every turn. Enhanced with the bonus of brilliant puppetry.
