One reality TV show. Two families – unknowingly cast as 1840s settlers and Indians. Which family will survive three months on the Minnesota prairie? The urbane Roubidouxs – busy with life, cell phones and computers, who long ago lost connection to their roots on the reservation and its rich culture. Or the Monroes – who retreated from modern society to live off the land in the north woods. Soon enough, both families find they have more to overcome than just the elements.
