Sorry, tickets are no longer availbale for this production

One of the longest-running works of musical theatre in history, with the 1988 West End production still running after 20 years, Blood Brothers is a contemporary nature vs. nurture tale revolving around fraternal twins separated at birth. The twins' different backgrounds take them to the opposite ends of the social spectrum, one becoming an Oxbridge-graduated councilor and the other ending up in prison. Both fall in love with the same girl. She marries one brother and the other attempts to steal her away, ultimately leading to tragedy.

Blood Brothers marks CTC's first student production in the Cargill Stage. Our advanced level Theatre Arts Training students have developed all aspects of this professional production, from acting and stage managing to marketing and costuming. Join us!

Please note: This production contains adult language and situations. It is not recommended for persons under 15 years of age.

BLOOD BROTHERS RE/ACT EVENTS

Post-Show Opening Night Reception ... Get up close and personal with the cast, crew and director of Blood Brothers. Get tips on how to perfect that British accent over a few handfuls of crisps and just have a jolly good time! Refreshments will be served. Additional concessions will be available for purchase.

"Dueling Marilyns" ... Twin images of Marilyn Monroe (a recurring icon throughout Blood Brothers) will "face off" in the Cargill Lobby. One represents Edward, the rich twin who grew up in the lap of luxury; the other represents Mickey, the twin whose life was full of hard knocks and destitution. Conceptualized and designed by artist Sarah Fowler.

Make a Monroe ... While hanging out in the Cargill Lobby, grab some crayons and color your own black and white image of Marilyn Monroe. Images will be put on display for all to see.

Brit Bands Bonanza ... The Beatles, Coldplay, Lily Allen, The Clash and many more will act as a musical backdrop to these events. Conceptualized and mixed by Caitlin G.
