Residencies and Workshops

young CTC students The Children's Theatre Company provides challenging, innovative, high-quality arts education to students of every cultural heritage, ability, and level of interest. Whether during a single workshop or an extended residency involving multiple artists and disciplines, we always aim to stretch, challenge and enrich.

Your students could attend one of the amazing shows from our season of plays, then take part in a workshop based on the themes and issues of the play. But it doesn't have to stop there! Our residencies and workshops come in all shapes and sizes. You can arrange for a two-week Conservatory Experience, an artist residency that lasts between three days and several weeks, or a one-day workshop. Whether it explores a specific theme, focuses on any of Minnesota's standards like literary arts, theater, or social studies, or allows students to create original plays, our residencies and workshops help your students develop their imaginations, voices, and bodies — allowing them to grow both as artists and people.

All our residencies and workshops are individually tailored to meet your classroom's needs. Workshops can be held in the new McGuire Education Center or at your school.
