General Audition Information
Auditions for student actors between the ages of 8 and 18 are held at various times during the year depending on the needs of each production. The auditions take the form of sample classes, allowing groups of students to act, sing, dance, and interact. No preparation is needed and students need to dress comfortably for movement. The student actor positions are unpaid.
Auditions for adult Equity and non-Equity actors are held periodically throughout the year. Preparation is needed and based on the specific needs of each production. Adult actor positions are paid. All auditions are listed in the Minneapolis Star Tribune in Section 550 and in the St. Paul Pioneer Press in Section 20.
Theatre Arts Training
Students between the ages of 8 and 18 may audition to enroll in the Theatre Arts Training classes. Auditions are held for Fall, Winter, and Summer Sessions. Call 612.872.5118 or visit the Theatre Arts Training page for more information and upcoming auditions.
