Pay What You Can Go, Dog. Go! Tickets On Sale Today
For Immediate Release: September 1, 2004
WHO:
The Children's Theatre Company (CTC), the nation's leading theater for young people and families, recipient of the 2004 National Governors Association Award for Distinguished Service to State Government in the field of Artistic Production, and recipient of the 2003 Tony® Award for Best Regional Theater.
WHAT:
Tickets now on sale for the September 8th Pay What You Can performance of Go, Dog. Go!
Launched in September 1998, the Pay What You Can program is designed to make professional theatre available to families who cannot afford to buy regular priced tickets. Families can literally pay what they can for tickets, with a minimum of $1. There is a limit of 6 tickets per household for each show. They may be purchased in person or by phone.
This year we are happy to offer these special performances with the very generous support of Select Comfort, creator of the Sleep Number® bed.
One of America's most beloved books bursts onto the CTC stage with MC Dog narrating this musical and comedic journey of canines, big and small. The cadence and language of the book will carry onto the stage in a hip, clown-like canine cosmos. The production is a mad mix of circus, dance and visual treats.
WHEN:
Go, Dog. Go! Pay What You Can performance on Wednesday, September 8 at 7 p.m.
WHERE:
The Children's Theatre Company
2400 Third Avenue South, Minneapolis, MN 55404
