An Artful Reception for the Superintendent 
10 Twin Cities Arts Organizations Welcome Dr. Peebles
3rd Grade to High School Students Share their Artistry

The Children’s Theatre Company (CTC), Intermedia Arts, Minneapolis Institute of Arts, Minnesota Center for Book Arts, Minnesota Orchestra, Ordway Center for the Performing Arts, Stages Theatre Company, Theater Mu, Walker Art Center, Weisman Art Center
THE PROGRAM INCLUDES:
- 3rd, 4th, and 8th grade Tuttle student drummers led by Chico Perez
- Welcome by Peter Brosius, The Children's Theatre Company
- My Inspiration, student essay by Michelle Thiem, Ramsey International Fine Arts Center
- Summertime by George Gershwin, arr. Kirby Shaw, performed by Southwest High Singers led by music teacher Nancy Lee
- Remarks by Superintendent Peebles
- Seasons of Love from Rent by Jonathan Larson, arr. Roger Emmerson, performed by Southwest High Singers led by music teacher Nancy Lee
WHEN:
Monday, January 10 - 4:00-6:00 pm
The half-hour program will begin between 4:30 and 4:45
