"Oh, yeah! It's a Big Musical!" -Genie, Disney's Aladdin, Jr.

WHO:
The Children's Theatre Company (CTC), the nation's leading theater for young people and families and recipient of the 2003 Tony® Award for Outstanding Regional Theater.
WHAT:
CTC will celebrate the holidays with Disney's Aladdin, Jr., with music by Alan Menken, lyrics by Howard Ashman and Tim Rice, book adaptation by Jim Luigs, music adaptation and arrangement by Bryan Louiselle, based on the screenplay by Ron Clements, John Musker, Ted Elliott and Terry Rossio.
The production is directed and choreographed by Matthew Howe with scenic design by William Bloodgood, costume design by Helen Q. Huang, lighting design by Beverly Emmons, sound design by Chris Heagle, musical direction by Andrew Cooke and stage management by Chris Schweiger. Aladdin and CTC's 2005/2006 season are proudly sponsored by Target.
Long a beloved animated film, CTC will stage the first professional production of this new version of Disney's Aladdin. With dancing genies, soaring carpets and contagious songs (including A Whole New World), this Arabian tale of true love will thrill Twin Cities' families this holiday season.
The 31-member cast includes CTC performing apprentices and resident company members including Reed Sigmund as Genie, as well as students actors and guest artists including Jorge E. Maldonado as Aladdin, Laurine Price as Jasmine and Bradley Greenwald as Jafar.

Aladdin previews November 15, 16 and 17, opens on November 18 and runs through January 6, 2006.
