WHO:
The Children's Theatre Company (CTC), the nation's leading theater for young people and families and recipient of the 2003 Tony® Award for Outstanding Regional Theater.
WHAT:
CTC will race into the New Year with the world premiere of Reeling by Barry Kornhauser with music by Michael Koerner. Directed by Peter C. Brosius, the production has scenic design by Joseph D. Dodd, costume design by Fabio Toblini, lighting design by Nancy Schertler, sound design by Chris Heagle, and stage management by Scott Pegg. CTC's 2005/2006 season is proudly sponsored by Target.
Inspired by the slapstick, melodrama, and pratfalls of the comedic silent films of the 1920s, Reeling is both sweet and madcap. The plays follows a little, put upon fellow as he navigates through a world of Keystone Kop chases and narrow escapes, all the while pining for the love of his life. It is the best of the early days of motion pictures, live and onstage today.
The 15-member cast is led by CTC resident company member Dean Holt as our Hero with CTC performing apprentice Rebecca Lord playing his Beloved. They are joined by two student actors and eleven guest artists including Joe Chvala, Zach Curtis, Beth Gilleland, Will Sturdevant, and Emily Zimmer.

Reeling previews January 17, 18 and 19, opens on January 20 and runs through March 4, 2006.
