Catch the Cat in the Hat at Twin Cities' events this weekend

WHO:
The Children's Theatre Company's (CTC) Cat in the Hat, The Midtown Global Market and The Red Balloon Bookstore.
WHAT:
The Cat in the Hat jumps off The Children's Theatre Company mainstage to join the first anniversary parade and celebration at The Midtown Global Market on Saturday, June 2nd from 10:00 - 11:00 am. He and his young companion from the production, JoJo, will also sing a song or two from the production of Seussical, which runs at CTC until June 17.
On Sunday, June 3, The Cat will cross the river to participate in the Grand Old Day Parade. He will ride in The Red Balloon Bookstore's parade car along with author-illustrator Johnny Gruelle's beloved characters Raggedy Ann & Andy, beginning at 10:30 a.m. Following the parade, The Cat will sign autographs at the Bookstore (891 Grand Avenue) where families can enter a drawing to win a family four-pack to CTC's production of Seussical.
