Foundation and government support for The Children's Theatre Company includes major operating grants from Minnesota State Arts Board, The Shubert Foundation, and The McKnight Foundation. In addition, grants often support new and innovative projects. For example, National Endowment for the Arts, The Joyce Foundation, Multi-Arts Production Program of Creative Capital Foundation, Ford Foundation, Jerome Foundation, The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, and Theatre Communications Group support the development of new work for youth theatre and enable us to commission some of the country's best playwrights and designers. Funders who believe in the value of arts education – including The Bush Foundation, The William Randolph Hearst Foundations, and the U.S. Department of Education – support the development and implementation of our programming for children ages four through twelve.
Foundations who would like to know more about CTC are welcome to call Charisse Gendron, Grants Officer, at 612.872.5102, or look up CTC on the Guidestar web site.
