Grades refer to Fall 2019. AM and PM camps may be purchased together to create a full day which includes a supervised lunch hour. Extended Care available.

World Premiere camps focus on creating original scenes or plays through acting exercises, group brainstorm, and improvisation.
Musical Jam camps bring stories to life through musical theatre. Students will devise a musical with original songs, choreography, and characters. Showtime camps rehearse and perform from existing scripts and/or musical scores.
Actor’s Lab camps focus on technique-based exercises to strengthen ensemble and individual craft.

Showtime: Sideways Stories from Wayside School

Welcome to Wayside School – home to a cast of zany characters like hypnotic pigtails, a talking pile of rain coats (who turns out to be a dead rat), and a teacher who turns her students into apples. Tackle character development, script analysis, and ensemble storytelling in a workshop setting.

Performance Opportunity – Junior Showcase: Three Haunted Nights (Grades 4 – 6)

Discover what fear is in this new musical featuring three spooky tales weaved together—The Boy Who Left Home, Baba Yaga and the Brave Youth, and The Robber with a Witch’s Head. Will you be able to last all three nights in the Haunted Castle? Theatre Arts Training’s performance opportunities are specifically designed for students who have a demonstrated commitment to their craft as performers and display a positive attitude in their work. Students work with like-minded peers and industry professionals to produce a musical. The Junior Showcase performs on our Cohen Stage.
